Trainers,
After the worldwide Pokémon GO Tour: Johto event ends on February 26, we look forward to welcoming Trainers to Pokémon GO Tour: Live happening in multiple cities across the globe. These in-person events will be taking place on February 27, 2022, at the following locations:
- Monterrey, Mexico at Parque Fundidora
- Kaohsiung, Taiwan at the Taiwan Lantern Festival
Trainers attending any one of these events will receive event-exclusive Special Research—join forces with other Trainers to explore the habitats and enjoy all this research has to offer! Trainers who purchase a ticket to Pokémon GO Tour: Live and attend in-person can look forward to an encounter with Mewtwo, item rewards, and so much more.
We can’t wait to explore these incredible places with you. Don’t forget to document your journey by taking photos with your buddy and sharing them using #PokemonGOTour—who knows, a sleepy Snorlax may even join your photo shoot!
It seems that Shiny Pokémon will also be appearing more frequently at Pokémon GO Tour: Live locations, so be on the lookout. Ditto will also be appearing in the wild during the event. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny one!
You must be in the above-mentioned locations in order to experience ticketed gameplay, and only ticket holders will have access to the event’s Special Research and other event-exclusive experiences.
Whether they have a ticket or not, Trainers in Monterrey and Kaohsiung will be able to participate in raids from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time against the following Legendary Pokémon originally found in the Kanto region.
- Articuno
- Zapdos
- Moltres
Trainers in those cities can also encounter the following Pokémon in raids. Typically, these Pokémon can only be encountered in very specific parts of the world.
- Farfetch’d
- Kangaskhan
- Mr. Mime
- Tauros
All tickets are US$25.00 in the event’s local currency equivalent (plus applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO Tour website. You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO Tour: Live event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at these locations on the specified date and time.
Note: Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first serve and are available for purchase while supplies last.
