GO Battle League Season 10 is set to kick off!
As previously announced, Trainers who reach Legend rank this season will be able to register early for certain Pokémon GO World Championship Series events! Stay tuned—additional details will be posted on the Pokémon GO World Championship Series page soon.
Season 10 Start Date, Rank Resets, and End-of-Season Rewards
GO Battle League Season 10 will start on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the season.
- End-of-season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as in Season 9.
- Pokémon appearing in GO Battle League encounters will now be slightly easier to catch.

The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20, for a total of 100 battles.

4× Stardust from win rewards (this does not include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 3× Stardust bonus on January 8).

Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time
- The Master League and the Master League Classic will be active.
Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time
- The Great League and the Sinnoh Cup will be active.
Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time
- The Ultra League and the UL Premier Classic will be active.
Season 10 Rewards
Guaranteed rank-up encounters
You can encounter the following Pokémon once per season at the designated ranks. At rank 1, you’ll be guaranteed to encounter one of the Pokémon that the leader of Team Flare, Lysandre, is known to use!

Pokémon appearing in GO Battle League encounters will now be slightly easier to catch.

Pikachu Libre avatar items will be rewarded to Trainers who reach Rank 3.
Trainers will be able to earn avatar items and a pose inspired by the leader of Team Flare, Lysandre, who first made his debut in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y!
- Ace rank: Lysandre-Style Gloves
- Veteran rank: Lysandre-Style Shoes
- Expert rank: Lysandre-Style Pants
- Legend rank: Lysandre-Style Jacket and Lysandre Pose
At rank 19, you’ll receive an Elite Charged TM, and you’ll also receive an Elite Fast TM as an end-of-season reward.

Great League Remix
The 20 Pokémon most used by Trainers Ace rank and up in the Great League will not be allowed in the Great League Remix.

The 10 Ultra League Pokémon most used by Trainers Ace rank and up in the Ultra League will not be allowed in the Ultra League Remix.

- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Normal-, Grass-, Electric-, Ice-, Flying-, and Ghost-type Pokémon are permitted.
Sinnoh Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon with a Pokédex number from #387 to #493 will be allowed.
Love cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only red or pink Pokémon will be allowed.
Johto Cup
- Pokémon must be at or below 1500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon with a Pokédex number from #152 to #251 will be allowed.
Attack changes
Rock Tomb
This attack will now have an additional effect when it’s used in Trainer Battles.
- Trainer Battles: Guaranteed to lower the opposing Pokémon’s Attack.
Pound
- Trainer Battles:
5→ 4 damage
Bug Buzz
Bug Buzz will gain a slight increase in damage to boost Wormadam’s, Vespiquen’s, and Yanmega’s Bug-type Charged Attack options.
- Trainer Battles:
90→ 100 damage - Gyms and raids:
90→ 100 damage
Attack availability updates
Donphan Donphan will now be able to learn the Charged Attack Body Slam. Noctowl Noctowl will now be able to learn the Charged Attack Shadow Ball. Magcargo Magcargo will now be able to learn the Fast Attack Incinerate. Magcargo will now be able to learn the Charged Attack Rock Tomb.
