So now every team game is going to require players to purchase an entire branch of techs just to be peaceful...
"Team Games", as a concept, is confirmed to be added at some point.

So you'll be able yo play teams without the tech, and in FFA if you get it you can peace it out?
Most likely, but Diplomacy will still be very useful in team games. 😀
