We wanted to make it look more "robust" and better suited for its job.
Idk about the sailing before fishing thing. A port is very expensive in early game.
That's why we did it, to make getting on the water a smidge less appealing.
Are there plans to rework/buff certain techs? I feel like the often less advantageous techs like free spirit, spiritualism, and meditation could use a buff.

The burning city effect is still there, you just don't see it through the fog anymore.

Fish are both in Coasts and Oceans, not just Oceans
so kiko is basically hard nerf. Why not giving kikoo strating tech as Fishing, and ports be maybe a start tech for an other new tribe
Not really. Many are suggesting that it's a straight buff for Kickoo, making them stronger than the live version.

Now they don't have a Level 2 city at T0. And will struggle to upgrade, they are like XinXi now.
The Fish are both in coasts and oceans, and they start with 2 of them.
They're still a T0 tribe.
how can they harvest them if they start with the sayling tech ? They need to invest 6* for the Fish tech, and then harvest them for 4*. 10* in total, before having a Lv2 capital

Realy ? But there is some missing tech that could get some tribes, like Sailing, Metalurgy or Free spirit, and why not a Zebazi-like Aquaculture tribe.
Free spirite is not a good start tech, but it can be upgraded.
Like for sailing, a pirate theme could make it (yes kikoo already have pirate theme but still).
And metalurgy is not broken, as it will be a Lv2 capital T0 tribe, that is not more broken than kiko, bardure or Imperius
We don't want to give every tech a tribe.
All new tribes will be Special. We're solid on that.

Don't know if someone else already mentioned it, but my game crashes whenever I play as Cymanti and click on a port in a city that I own. I have to keep reminding myself not to decompose ports (to replace with algae), since the game crashes otherwise. Clicking on ports in foreign cities works fine, as well as clicking on my own ports as another tribe.
