Below is an overview of the assets each normal tribe skin changes:

  • Xin - Xi: Land units, cities
  • Imperius: Land units, cities, fruit, animals
  • Bardur: Land units, cities
  • Oumaji: Land units, cities, animals
  • Kickoo: Land units, water units, cities,
  • Hoodrick: Land units, cities
  • Luxidoor: Land units, water units, cities, terrain
  • Vengir: Land units, cities, animals
  • Zebasi: Land units, cities, animals, terrain
  • Ai-Mo: Land units, cities, animals, terrain
  • Quetzali: Land units, cities, animals
  • Yaddak: Land units, cities, fruit, animals

As you can clearly see, there is no consistency between them. Which I find weird considering they all cost the same. A dollar for the Xin-Xi skin gets you half of the content as a dollar for the Luxidoor skin.

I would like for Midjiwan to rework the skins and give them equal value.

I didn't include Elyrion skin because it cost 1.99 so it's natural that it has more assets changed.

The devs have stated very clearly that they don't want there to be consistency among skins. They don't want to feel forced to change the terrain for every single tribe. They don't want to have special ships for every single tribe. Basically, they don't want to limit themselves by forcing themselves to change every single aspect. They want to change the things they feel appropriate.

This is the right answer.

We don't want to change everything about a skin, but things we find appropriate.

Now, that doesn't mean we're opposed to "revisiting" a few of the older skins in the future, but it wouldn't be to add "consistency" between them.

For instance, what animal would you give the Bardur Baergoff skin if not the Baerion that they're inspired by? Do they need to have their animal changed?

(btw the Baergoff skin is the best, no need to change it)

"Baergoff"

That's a funny way of spelling Yorthwober
