Really? Odd. Perhaps the early reaction to cloaks has been a bit misleading, but perhaps they should at least see some tweaks to some of their capabilities, no?
Tweaks aren't out of the question in the future, but right now, we find Cloaks/Daggers more in need of "time" than "balancing"
Can there be a way to destroy a bots embasdy without going at war? Because many times my ally bots enemy makes an embasdy in my capital making my ally think i have friend with him and breaking peace

when the opponent. Breaks peace treaty he cant attack and next turn i cant attack him but my doomux explode and kill his troops

Curious: I get rolling back the Forge (Mint) changes, but why the Windmill one? From this newbie's perspective, Windmill seems kinda all right-ish at best.
We considered the Windmill one to be super OP, and it was quickly reverted.

Knights are practically useless now and the game got sooooo annoying to play I barely ever finish games anymore. Should have made it a game mode so we had the option. Super bummed
Knights haven't gotten any weaker offensively, you just need to think of them more as a specialist unit, not a "do everything" unit
Why can't we use our allies' ports?
The official answer is to stop griefing, as it's really easy to simply block your ally from making naval units.

How do we get this feature in the pipeline then? It's not an unreasonable request. There's already a custom game option, why not just add it there?
Because out development of the game will take Diplomacy into account.
This is the direction we feel we'd like to take the game.
Why arenβt multiplayer games playing with diplomacy? All members have the updated game version.

Than do some balancing. I was enthusiastic about the idea of diplomacy, but this is just a hot mess. Negotiating treaties is tedious, and cloaks and daggers gamebreakingly slowing every thing down. I haven't played since my last post, cause the game just sucks very very badly at the moment. I only check this subreddit cause I loved the original so much, hoping you will fix this mess. Don't you have statistics somewhere that tell you how many players abandoned the game?
Well, despite how it might seem, the update has gotten quite a bit of positive reviews, too, often praising the diplomatic features and overall slower feel.
Regardless, we hear your feedback and will make adjustments over time.
I like the idea to diplomacy in the game, but honestly this update is just terrible.
Insurrections are simply too powerful and a fun killer, not making the game more dynamic but turning it into trench warfare instead. Because otherwise, it's just to hard to defend against cloaks. Too cheap, too accessible, easy to send behind enemy lines. Games are now 50% fighting insurrections.

Did you know that Mind Benders can help sniff out Cloaks? Place a few around your base and it should make spotting Cloaks much easier.
Diplomacy ruin this game
How so?
One damn dude sneaks in and I have a 5-6 little swordsmen to contend with. Completely changed the dynamic of the game. Impossible to get >95%
Have you tried using Mind Benders? They can help sniff out Cloaks. :)
That does not negate the point that you changed the game to 50% fighting insurrection. Noone, AI or multiplayer will ever stop spamming cloaks.
We are looking into making them less prevalent while also still allowing them to accomplish their goals.
Huge disappointment that you did not include a diplomatic victory option. The Crazy bot AI is still way too easy to conquer so peace treaties and embassies are just extra steps in a domination victory.
@ OP - Have you guys considered other victory options? Seems about time, no?
We did talk about why there isn't a shared victory yet.
Maybe in the future, but for now, it would add a lot more time to implement as there's some big questions we'd need to answer first.
