Has anyone, officially or not, tried to make a board game version of Polytopia? I can't get the idea out of my head that it would make an awesome board game.

External link →Well I think the hardest part would be mimicking the fog of war. Given how important of a game mechanic that is it would be intresting how any board game mimics that while still capturing the board game feel
If we would ever make an official board game, we'd solve this issue by making the tabletop version play very differently from the video game version - fog of war wouldnt be an issue, then.
Is it a possibility?
