17s your viewpoints of the Battle Royale
19s that we just finished playing a little
21s while ago and I look forward to being
23s able to discuss that all right without
25s further Ado let's get to it so we played
28s a game with how many were we like five
30s players uh six players so and uh six
33s player so and you and me got to face off
38s right quickly on our own little
40s continent here so let's let's have a
41s look at that how that went and this is
44s my view I'm hudrick yep so this is going
48s to be exclusively following mij W's uh
51s Viewpoint they are playing as the purple
54s hudrick uh somewhat in the center of the
59s map yeah
61s so one question yeah one question I had
64s is the direction choice of your early
68s Archer of what was this the original
71s path you're intending your Archer to
75s go yeah I guess I mean it looks like I'm
79s I'm a very doing a very aggressive play
83s that day I was probably in aggressive
86s mode or something so I just wanted to
89s like quickly
90s get vision of the continent and see if I
92s could like get something because I know
95s it was kind of a cramp so probably just
97s one or or two Villages available so but
101s I mean it's always dangerous to move out
102s with a Archer like that or kri in the
105s beginning if you know
107s there's opponents around there y luckily
110s there's no signs of any opponents so no
114s all I changed my mind there is actually
116s signs of an opponent so M immediately
119s afterwards this is actually me I playing
122s as the yellow
124s omagi uh or the with the Condor
127s skin and immediately you're seeing that
130s I've already claimed this village and
132s we're neighbors with each
133s other
135s mhm what were the first I mean this
137s could have been been the other way
139s around so it could have been like you
142s being in the left there and in that case
145s this would have been a really good setup
147s for me so I think this is actually also
149s a little bit bad luck that the Archer
151s got in front and the the warrior in the
154s back but let's
156s see so right over here I do end up uh
160s letting you know of my existence I
163s actually had no idea cuz if we very
165s briefly just switch over to my
167s view I don't even know you're
170s there so this this part was not
173s intentional it's more so I moved uh
176s forward and I got drastically spooked
178s after an explorer
181s and found that you already had an Archer
184s right there so that was not actually
185s intended for me to hit the
192s Archer so I'm sacrificing my Archer
194s there for whatever would come out of
197s that ruin so again I'm playing a very
199s aggressive game here just trying to like
201s move forward really quickly and see if I
203s could like trample you in some way like
206s surprise you put pressure on you early
208s on absolutely just imagine how different
210s this game could have gone if that was a
212s swordsman instead of a instead of a tech
216s out of that
217s ruin I I would have had to been on the
220s uh back burner the entire time in
221s playing defensive from uh step
224s one so I go ahead and accept your
229s trade and right over here you're now
231s seeing your third
233s Village and picks up an explore for
238s yourself and with here at least from my
241s viewpoint this is very terrifying to see
244s as a as a hudrick player uh already see
247s a lot of riders right there at your
251s doorstep yeah but I got them as well
254s yeah I don't really remember why why
255s going down the the rider path here I
259s mean as you said we talked about before
262s I mean
264s um uh Warriors in in in for with the
269s defense bonus is really good
271s good counter for for your Riders but I
276s mean again I wanted to move
278s quickly yep including a good another
281s aggressive play so here you are
283s continuing with your aggression sieging
285s the city and it is actually holding off
287s just two stars per turn but if I don't
290s uneg that then I'm in trouble so you're
293s actually keeping me on the defensive
294s you're deciding this is the tempo that
296s you'd like to
298s establish along with with setting up for
301s a potential Siege here here in the north
303s all you got to do is train one more
305s Archer and you're threatening a Siege on
307s a city that I currently can't on
312s Siege go ahead and uh picking that up
316s moving on
317s back and then pumping out a lot more
320s units

325s yeah so right over here you're playing a
327s good defensive omaji style here I think
331s like building up a
333s huge uh amount of of riders just keeping
337s them safe while I'm just like
340s sacrificing everything to keep the pace
342s up yeah in this sort of instance this
345s kind of aggressive play to try to Siege
346s the city is really good CU it helps
349s prevent me from being aggressive against
351s your cities uh the downside is is you
354s really need this Village down here but
357s I'm positioning everything in a way
358s where you can't easily claim it
361s and if this game goes on for too long
364s that'll make it to where I have the
365s production
366s Advantage uh making a lot easier for me
368s to
369s secure well a lead that uh you might not
372s be able to come back from so this play
374s right here is excellent as long as these
376s archers can continue to poke off these
379s Riders uh perhaps you might be able to
381s make a comeback and maybe try to get
383s either this Village or this
387s ruin right over here uh the importance
390s of making sure not to uneg with the
392s warrior but the rider so that way I can
394s continue to train healthy units off of
396s the uh City here this allows me to
400s actually apply even more pressure to you
402s and instead of attacking my uh cities
404s you may have to fall back so we're both
406s sitting here uh really just trading
408s blows and trying to prevent each other
410s from getting the city uh while you're
413s continuing over and over again to say no
416s I'm still here don't forget that
420s we're going to go ahead and keep up with
422s these
423s attacks and I thought it was over but
426s then it wasn't you bring it the
434s road so I'm like constantly doing sieges
437s I know won't last just I don't know why
441s to probably to like force you to cuz
444s then I'm like deciding what you are
446s supposed to do every turn yeah like you
449s you know you have to to like un spe all
451s the time and you're losing
453s stars
455s but damn it yep and at this point I I
460s pull the reverse card I have to I give
462s you the ultimatum do you want to defend
464s your city or do you want to try to fight
467s back for that Village prevent me from
469s claiming it at this point I get a clear
472s Advantage yeah definitely and there
475s might be too many riters at this point
478s so there was a lot of very aggressive
480s plays early on and we're on turn n but
485s you you really manage to like grow your
489s army like I I kind of wasted all my
492s units but you
495s like you have a lot more units than I do
498s at this point because you're I guess bit
501s more careful with them while I'm just
503s sacrificing
504s them yep but this does come with a cost
508s cuz while I am able to win this battle
511s and once again somehow you are still
513s applying a
519s Siege um while I may have enough
522s to push you off and finally win this
526s battle it does come with the
533s cost
535s mhm setting up for one more Siege
540s which actually there's some assistance
542s right over here by another HRI
545s player yeah my brother I don't
549s know probably likes me is because
552s we so petrified uh Gremlin also known as
555s blueberry
556s cheesecake uh currently in running in
559s first place and score-wise currently
561s running away with the game is opting to
563s help you out and protect your city with
565s that
570s and right over there I don't take kindly
572s to that and I say no I've got a
575s bridge yeah this bridge is fam bridge
579s for the this this bridge is so important
583s for this entire game and for those of
585s you seeing this perspective of the game
587s you might not know how this bridge was
589s quite important and what kind of a role
592s it plays but at least for now it allows
594s The Swordsman to go forward to kill off
596s an Archer throw in enough riders with a
599s warrior secure a
601s Siege and at this
603s point that is enough and
606s unfortunately I capture all the cities
608s and that isn't
610s it for mij
612s one that was one heck of an aggressive
615s game and it may look like that I have
617s quite a commanding
