1558s everything up with our Trident which is
1561s essentially what Aquarion is trying to
1563s accomplish in the late game so we got to
1567s see a beautiful line of how to get from
1569s the early game and in this case we
1571s actually got kind of Lucky with how
1572s strong early game ended up being and how
1575s to get to that late game so we can
1577s actually start playing with all the fun
1581s stuff at this point we will be wanting
1584s to move our units forward as fast as
1586s possible so in these back cities that's
1589s completely surrounded by land while you
1591s may be tempted in order to get a unit
1593s like a shark or even Trident remember
1596s that it's going to be really really slow
1599s to get there now it would it's not going
1602s to be the end of the world if you go
1603s ahead and just train them up anyways but
1606s you may want to consider a more reliable
1608s unit such as an
1610s amphibian across the land cuz we'll go
1613s ahead and train Trident back here and
1615s just do the old uh method of what a
1618s trident space bam would best be looking
1620s like go ahead and get this mine get
1623s ourselves another
1626s crab so just Trident spam everywhere we
1631s can Trident really are not the answer in
1634s every single scenario anymore they're
1636s more of a support and cleanup unit
1639s however if you get enough of any unit
1641s you could probably make it all work out

1656s these puffers to do exactly what we want
1659s and start cleaning everything up I
1662s really want to go ahead and weaken a
1663s unit to a much better

1784s like to get it onto the front lines as

1787s possible so we're going to train Trident

1794s going to want to go ahead and let
1797s supports with
1800s sharks so let's go ahead and get some

1804s rolling shark shark move as fast as we
1808s can to support everything shark shark

2645s extra defensive bonus that is because
2648s flooded tiles do not count towards the

2930s dang well the biggest downside is you
2932s got to get past the early game struggles
2936s that aquar deals with and that's economy
2939s now in this case we ended up being able
2940s to go overboard cuz the game was on a
2942s large map so we got to
2945s absolutely spam the game out with
2947s marketplaces and not have a single issue
2950s with economy uh but in a normal game
2952s you're going to find out that you're
2954s barely not going to have enough Stars so
2957s again just take into heed of what was
2959s covered at the start of the video and
2961s that is really figuring out what is the
2963s best way to level up your early cities
2966s as well as how to defend yourself until
2969s you get to a good point now markets are
2972s not going to be your typical goto thing
2974s so your Best Bets are going to be
2976s waterways get at TOS in order to level
2978s up your Capital with hopefully very few
2980s at placements cuz I ended up in this
2982s game placing down one two I think just
2985s two and that two connected one two
2988s cities 3 four five just for the cost of
2992s 10 Stars I connected five cities to my
2994s Capital which is really really strong
2997s now of course that's something similar
2999s that siman could do with their mycelium
3001s where the melium is highly limited based
3003s on forests whereas ours as long as we
3006s get flooded terrain everywhere we can
3010s absolutely spam out Road Connections to
3013s all of our cities for instance all I got
3015s to do is just make all these connections
3018s right over here there's another one over
3021s there and everything else is connected

3024s melium uh oh and I guess one more over
3027s here where is it going to be a toll
3032s there you go so now everything's
3033s connected I could have probably done
3035s that a little better but it does not
3036s take a lot of its holes in order to
3038s connect your cities especially if you're
3040s very careful about the
3042s placements um and yeah so you want to
3046s spam out crabs level up your cities that
3048s also improves your economy by doing so
3051s you'll be able to get highly defensive
3053s units such as the jelly
3057s which will make it to where you them
3059s using their traditional Riders and
3061s knights are not going to work very well
3063s including Defenders are not a very good
3066s unit against a jelly and even if they
3068s try to upgrade into something such as a
3070s rammer rammers deal damage to themselves
3073s so the only real way to deal with
3075s jellies are ranged units such as archers
3077s scouts or bombers in a well-placed
3081s position then you have the puffer
3084s that'll give you the drench ability to
3086s flood tiles but notice we did a majority
3090s of our flooding thanks to these crabs
3092s and that is a crab's primary job because
3095s of their High defense you want them to
3098s secure kills on land tiles to flood it
3101s and then move to a secondary tile to
3103s flood those as well not at the cost of
3106s losing a crab mind you you really want
3109s to try to get the best bang for your
3111s buck with your 40 Health five defense
3115s units this is the units with the highest
3117s defense in the game so crabs especially
3120s if they go onto a defensive tile such as
3122s a mountain and get a defense bonus or
3127s and a water-based map over here onto the
3129s ocean or the water these crabs are going
3133s to be
3134s insanely difficult to kill and they're
3136s going to be your primary front line unit
3140s sharks notice we tried using them they
3142s definitely had their uses and we really
3145s didn't lose any sharks
3147s but sharks are really expensive for what
3150s you get shark primary ability is to use
3153s surprise in order to deal free damage
3156s without taking retaliation so just
3158s consider them a unit that could deal
3160s damage for
3162s free but unfortunately they don't really
3164s have the defensive stats to protect
3167s themselves so you really want to use
3169s other units to protect your sharks cuz
3171s if you can keep your sharks alive you
3174s could start killing a lot of the enemy
3177s units essentially for free but if you
3179s are very careful with sharks if you're
3182s very careful with the jellies you could
3185s then set up a whole bunch of units to
3187s have low Health in order to let your
3190s tridion clean them up with the persist
3194s ability now tridion because they no
3196s longer have Escape are throwing
3198s themselves in
3200s danger so you really want to make sure
3202s that you have units in front such as
3204s sharks or more so like jellies or even
3207s even better yet a crab that can protect
3209s your Trident so your Trident can clean
3212s all of the units
3215s up that is essentially how you get to
3218s play Aquarion in 35 turns against four
3222s AI bots on crazy difficulty on a large
3225s map I hope y'all all learned something
3227s from this if y'all want to go ahead and
3229s pick it up now is going to be an
3230s excellent time as this tribe has a lot
3233s of uniqueness to offer including a whole
3236s bunch of Wonderful ful flavor so if
3238s you're looking for something absolutely
3240s new and not wanting to deal with bugs or
3243s ponies or ice then you now have the
3246s power of water on your side and you can
3249s bring a dry lands map into a fully
3252s flooded map allowing bomber gam playay
3257s it has a lot of interesting
3259s implications but as yall saw Aquarion is
3262s slow invading land
3264s so if you are excited for water based
3267s maps and want to have a new change of
3270s gameplay or have a lot of units that you
3272s don't really get to
3274s see a lot of pick up Aquarion tribe as
3278s soon as you possibly can I hope y'all
