External link →The reason I've heard is that they want Vengir to be the only "Edgy" tribe (although in my opinion they broke that rule already with the Polaris and the Cymanti).
It's the type of edgy.
"Death and dark and doom and skulls and stuff" is pretty much Vengir. Polaris and Cymanti have their own forms of "dark", but not in the way of Vengir.
This idea of an undead tribe would be 100% Vengir's theme.
What about something like a golem/robot tribe? It could be something like a lost civilization's machines being rediscovered, with those machines attempting to 'recreate' their creators' civilization.
You do know that the Ancients are confirmed as the next tribe, right?

They do, but they fit that idea of "lost civilization coming back" and stuff.
