| 20s | wants you to sub to the channel and with |
| 22s | me today is the king of doom |
| 24s | Reaper hello I'm a pro polytopia player |
| 27s | and a fellow bullet Champion all right |
| 30s | let's get into it so this game takes |
| 33s | place between anva and Mystic Creator |
| 35s | who are highly skilled Pro players they |
| 37s | had to battle it out for four rounds |
| 39s | previously just for the opportunity to |
| 41s | face each other in these polium finals |
| 44s | that's this game right now our first |
| 47s | segment is a fun one it's called |
| 48s | comparing capitals so if we take a look |
| 51s | at Ana's spawn we'll see that they have |
| 54s | two fruit in one fish seems like the |
| 56s | organization Tech is the route to go m |
| 60s | six capital on the other hand tons of |
| 62s | fruit and fish not quite going to need |
| 65s | both of them to get that level three |
| 66s | upgrade but after that it looks like an |
| 68s | easy path to Giant with all these Port |
| 71s | connections from these cities there's |
| 73s | even enough cities just with land |
| 74s | connections to get a Grand Bazaar |
| 76s | already off to a great start so both |
| 79s | players are off to their races sending |
| 81s | their off to these |
| 83s | villages to keep his a little closer |
| 86s | together Le pretty similar and they're |
| 89s | both going to pick up fishing too Ona |
| 92s | really would have like to upgrade that |
| 93s | Capital but needs fishing instead going |
| 95s | to recognize that play a little more |
| 97s | conservatively starting off with a |
| 99s | workshop here I'm just going to move her |
| 101s | other Rider backwards here probably |
| 103s | getting ready to clear this fog and make |
| 106s | sure that the Explorer goes into where |
| 107s | Mystic probably is Mystic though a |
| 110s | little more Reckless he's going to go |
| 112s | ahead upgrade this city all his Stars |
| 115s | explore straight |
| 117s | away and Mystic unfortunately misses on |
| 120s | doesn't get those Stars traded but sees |
| 122s | these three villages locked on his side |
| 126s | right next to his Capital so probably |
| 127s | excited about that Ana's also going to |
| 130s | get an Explorer on all of like the exact |
| 132s | same Villages still missing her opponent |
| 136s | going to play a little more |
| 137s | conservatively worried potentially about |
| 139s | a Siege on this city from the water |
| 142s | going to put that Rider on there and |
| 144s | this Warrior up on this city Mr goes in |
| 147s | and attacks moving North instead of to |
| 150s | probably where he's |
| 152s | safer yeah and so we see Ana going in |
| 155s | and killing that Rider up in the north |
| 157s | allowing her to step on that Village |
| 159s | just one turn sooner um seems like you |
| 163s | know Mystic made a you know pretty |
| 166s | decent mistake there letting her have |
| 168s | that Village a little bit earlier |
| 169s | considering that U Mystic you know has |
| 172s | all of his villages on his side but it |
| 174s | looks like Ana went for a an aggressive |
| 177s | approach here to step on that Village |
| 179s | there and run straight into mystic's |
| 180s | Rider there and it looks like she won't |
| 182s | be able to capture that Village cuz |
| 184s | Mystic will be able to knock her right |
| 185s | off she goes for an explore up in the |
| 189s | north and it good |
| 191s | expl yes it's an amazing |
| 194s | Explorer she sees that Mystic has a lot |
| 197s | more villages on his side of the map |
| 199s | than she |
| 200s | does Mystic training a couple |
| 204s | units just explore down south yeah he's |
| 207s | going to walk off that Village maybe get |
| 210s | some cheap prot Texs by delaying that |
| 212s | capture going to go all the way all of |
| 214s | those cities it's going to be six |
| 216s | Villages against the Ona has goes for |
| 220s | another Workshop he's trying to make up |
| 222s | for that lack of Eco these levels are |
| 225s | going to be really dragging him down |
| 228s | anva finally upgrades that Capital |
| 230s | making use of these Port |
| 233s | connections and making sense of why |
| 235s | fishing first on |
| 238s | archipelago we're going to see level |
| 240s | three cities really good for Ona |
| 243s | especially when you look at Mystic who |
| 245s | has half of his cities unupgraded |
| 248s | he's going to have to be spending all of |
| 251s | his Stars this turn and the next couple |
| 253s | of turns going to get a nice Explorer in |
| 255s | a |
| 257s | lighthouse he's going to upgrade with a |
| 260s | port |
| 261s | too which is going to be pretty |
| 263s | difficult he doesn't upgrade his other |
| 266s | cities right now he goes and gets these |
| 267s | riers pretty expensive on |
| 271s | the he going to be spending more time |
| 274s | working on upgrading cities and training |
| 276s | new units for right |
| 279s | now yeah it seems like Mystic is uh he |
| 282s | finally gets sailing of his own to place |
| 284s | down PS and such giving him the ability |
| 288s | to finally get on the water uh seems |
| 291s | like you know Ana has has a lead on the |
| 293s | water you know just it seems like a turn |
| 295s | or so sooner but uh we'll see we'll see |
| 299s | if Mystic can get a grasp on the water |
| 301s | and maybe he can finally scoop up those |
| 303s | villages in the East and the South and |
| 305s | press his Advantage even more right now |
| 308s | it's looking like a pretty pretty good |
| 309s | position for for |
| 311s | Mystic what's crazy is that he sees this |
| 314s | raft here and he sees this |
| 319s | Village down in the South he's worried |
| 321s | that Ana is going to get it and he's not |
| 323s | going to be able to do anything about it |
| 324s | so he ends up buying climbing with all |
| 327s | of his Stars just to kill that raft did |
| 329s | not Ona that |
| 331s | Village pretty aggressive but maybe he |
| 333s | was hoping for yep perfect metal rates |
| 336s | over there maybe he was seeing some kind |
| 339s | of upgrade with mining later on which |
| 341s | would be |
| 344s | crazy seems like Anova is now connecting |
| 346s | all of her cities with ports and gets |
| 348s | another Explorer unfortunately though it |
| 350s | does go backwards but it does find her a |
| 352s | lighthouse which could be useful in |
| 354s | popping Giants later |
| 356s | on |
| 358s | like he's going on on the attack with |
| 360s | his units and seems like Mystic is |
| 363s | finally deciding to somewhat focus on |
| 366s | his economy a little bit which I'm very |
| 368s | happy to see you know with Ana upgrading |
| 371s | all pretty early on oh and he gets an |
| 374s | Explorer and it goes backwards and |
| 375s | discovers that Lighthouse that actually |
| 377s | is pretty big for Mystic cuz now that |
| 381s | allows him to Giant next |
| 383s | turn yeah more units while he still has |
| 386s | this level one city up there |
| 392s | is also getting ready for a giant of her |
| 394s | own the only problem is if you look at |
| 396s | the |
| 397s | map mystic's going to take this city and |
| 400s | this city down here on the next turn |
| 403s | meaning it's going to be eight cities |
| 405s | against five that's a lot of problems |
| 408s | for Ona long |
| 409s | term Mystics also despite being the away |
| 412s | player going to be the one who gets |
| 414s | Giants before |
| 417s | anva and this Explorer is going to be |
| 419s | really nice |
| 420s | getting Vision on that Capital not quite |
| 422s | enough for either Lighthouse |
| 425s | but he's going to use yep his second |
| 428s | Monument this Grand Bazaar that Ana is |
| 430s | probably not going to get the whole game |
| 432s | and use those two monuments for a second |
| 435s | giant Ona's turn going to get and use |
| 440s | her |
| 441s | Monument as well as a couple other ports |
| 443s | for Giants same two giants but it is a |
| 446s | lot more expensive for onva to upgrade |
| 448s | this way |
| 453s | seems that Mystic now he gets |
| 455s | roads um and it seems like now he's |
| 458s | going to capture that East Village and |
| 459s | he gets that South Village too he's just |
| 462s | pressing his units forward and he pushes |
| 464s | his giant not into the port he pushes it |
| 467s | uh West and it seems like he's trying to |
| 468s | prevent Ana from getting on the water |
| 471s | anymore cuz right now Ana does have a |
| 474s | slight lead on the water has you know a |
| 475s | couple more boats on the water and uh it |
| 478s | seems like you know sailing is is |
| 480s | probably the next best option for both |
| 482s | of these players yeah the roads Tech was |
| 485s | very interesting tier 2 Tech cost as |
| 487s | much as sailing maybe he's getting ready |
| 490s | to use this giant and push it on land |
| 493s | against Ana's cities up here a lot of |
| 496s | riders too if he has the mobility |
| 498s | advantage to go bounce out then he'd be |
| 501s | fine the big thing is though it looks |
| 504s | like we see what I'm going to call a |
| 506s | oneway door here these mountains are |
| 510s | stopping Mystic from roding his own |
| 512s | units in but if anva had bought she can |
| 516s | move her units into the city no problem |
| 519s | they're really blocking mystic's units |
| 520s | from attacking on of the |
| 522s | Cities same thing for this Forest as |
| 525s | soon as Mystic walks out of his own he |
| 527s | can't walk back through this and Retreat |
| 530s | his Riders safely it's not really a |
| 532s | problem for anva |
| 536s | though anva is going to buy sailing and |
| 538s | take a very nice nice tasty Juggernaut |
| 541s | Splash damage sure that Mystic isn't |
| 543s | getting anything from that |
| 546s | starfish he's going to get a trade ruin |
| 549s | maybe not the most helpful |
| 551s | here but who |
| 553s | knows uh text you might see pop out for |
| 557s | these players to go ahead and finally |
| 560s | he's got level two cities |
| 564s | everywhere his economy is towering over |
| 567s | anva anva has about two 2/3 the income |
| 572s | and also about 2/3 the city count Ana |
| 576s | realizes this and starts putting all her |
| 578s | stars in the water getting this GI ready |
| 581s | to attack Ana knows that if she isn't |
| 584s | attacking her opponent that income is |
| 586s | just going to accumulate over the course |
| 588s | of game and mean that she's basically |
| 590s | guaranteed to lose she even uses yep the |
| 594s | bridges this Siege is possible and their |
| 596s | Riders go back and safely because they |
| 600s | can go this Forest onto the bridge tried |
| 603s | the same thing sieging this city the |
| 605s | forests would |
| 607s | block yeah we see Mystic now he's kind |
| 610s | of on the defense you know Ona making |
| 613s | that bridge and sieging that City seems |
| 615s | like anva has a lot more options now to |
| 618s | uh be aggressive and maybe you know take |
| 621s | some of those Villages from Mystic you |
| 623s | know Ana only has you know five Villages |
| 626s | and cannot get that Grand Bazaar without |
| 628s | another Village so maybe she's trying to |
| 630s | be aggressive here and go for that grand |
| 632s | Bazar to pop yet another giant maybe she |
| 634s | pops it on her Capital you know there's |
| 636s | a plenty of options here for for Ana to |
| 639s | create some |
| 641s | counterplay nowhere can we see Mystic |
| 644s | being more defensive than moving his |
| 646s | Juggernaut away from the port away from |
| 649s | attacking anva and into defending the |
| 651s | city the same for this giant here didn't |
| 654s | go into the port wants to keep Ana's |
| 656s | giant out but now mystic's in a really |
| 659s | defensive position he's got all these |
| 661s | cities but he needs to make sure he |
| 662s | needs to have some way that he can hold |
| 664s | on to |
| 665s | them and Ana recognizes this it starts |
| 668s | going for the attack the longer Mystic |
| 670s | defends the worse it is for ana ana is |
| 673s | going to get that Juggernaut in do some |
| 675s | damage not so worried about taking a |
| 678s | single hit from this 18 Health giant all |
| 681s | right and it looks like Mystic is going |
| 682s | to unsee with his Riders 's really |
| 685s | putting on the pressure now especially |
| 688s | with Mystic you know focusing most of |
| 690s | his |
| 691s | Stars he's not really doing much with |
| 693s | them uh it looks like Mystic goes for |
| 696s | two Bridges here to kill to kill Ana's |
| 700s | Rider there and then veter and then hop |
| 703s | on the ruin there very expensive play |
| 705s | and looks expensive play |
| 707s | mining mining on |
| 710s | Ary that's not something I see usually |
| 713s | normally it's for a Dryland map but on |
| 715s | Ary I mean that's that's pretty |
| 718s | rare uh it seems like he's playing for |
| 721s | the very late game here even because if |
| 723s | he gets Smithy that means another giant |
| 726s | here access to swordsman which would be |
| 728s | nice to rode in to onva |
| 731s | cities and then may also play maybe he's |
| 735s | also playing for markets you know he |
| 736s | does have trade right so maybe he sees |
| 739s | the opportunity to go for for smithery |
| 742s | and I don't know maybe maybe since he's |
| 744s | on the defensive he's hoping swordsman |
| 745s | will be will be better for him you know |
| 748s | although with swordsman Los that that |
| 750s | fortify bonus they're still really good |
| 753s | to attack ships with and possibly you |
| 755s | know defeat the |
| 757s | giant mhm maybe he's feeling like that |
| 759s | climbing that he had to do ear just |
| 761s | turning into a blessing |
| 764s | here let see which strategy wins Ana |
| 767s | keeps up the attack lots of pressure |
| 770s | here 's climbing herself so that yep |
| 773s | these mountains are blocking Mystic but |
| 775s | not so much onas onva gets two more |
| 777s | sieges |
| 780s | continues the attack with these boats |
| 783s | these Scouts aren't taking any |
| 785s | damage and Mystics Riders keep losing |
| 788s | Health as they keep going for these unes |
| 790s | after |
| 791s | turn it's getting harder and harder for |
| 794s | him to un Siege here but he does have a |
| 796s | high income |
| 799s | still as he upgrades that City anva goes |
| 803s | in this is her chance she's going to |
| 805s | siege that City that City two Giants |
| 807s | sieging and then this Warrior is also |
| 810s | going to Siege up here so that's a |
| 812s | quadruple Siege on turn that's what |
| 815s | happens when you build up pressure using |
| 818s | your units all over the place and these |
| 820s | ships they're not taking any retaliation |
| 823s | damage which means they can set up these |
| 824s | sieges over and over again at the start |
| 827s | of this turn income is even less than |
| 831s | anva this is a huge problem for him he's |
| 833s | got to do something about |
| 835s | it so he uses all of his right to attack |
| 839s | this |
| 840s | giant before taking a break and that's |
| 844s | right just like we talked about buying |
| 847s | smiffy so that he can pop a giant on |
| 850s | this city saving all of his cities this |
| 852s | turn getting ready for markets |
| 856s | definitely he's going to un Siege there |
| 859s | and O not all of his cities this one is |
| 862s | still lost he didn't have quite enough |
| 864s | Riders to deal with |
| 867s | that and anva does have ships actually |
| 870s | to take care of this |
| 873s | giant so Ona gets this which it doesn't |
| 876s | seem like he's got a way to break |
| 877s | anymore for capturing that City Ana's |
| 881s | got her own Grand Bazaar and with things |
| 884s | getting leveled like this until |
| 886s | eventually this giant sieged with no |
| 888s | recourse for him what a game thanks for |
