I’m a developer and I’m tired of waiting for in-game chat to come to the app. So, naturally I want to build it.
If I created a free and easy to use web app that has these features would you use it?
- allows for filling out the game type, map size, game name, number of players, and our own tag
- creates a listing of “games being played”
- allows you to search for your game name and then see all other games with your name
- once you find the exact game you’re playing, you can join and talk with others in a chat-style interface
Obviously I would open source the code and crowd source the design, UI and features. But that would require your help!
I have some downtime over the holidays and I think it would be a fun project to work on that I could launch in about a day.
