63s expansion by going backwards a bit here
66s but he's hoping that it'll pay off with
67s these higher level cities and everything

72s Warrior back and delaying his expansion
75s it means that his Tech costs won't go up
77s as high as quickly since he's not
79s capturing cities as quickly and this

171s looking at this tile indicates to Mystic

188s the first time he's gone off oh that's

203s on turn six even with buying climbing
206s with all those economic Investments he
208s made before you that first giant is huge
211s we see it coming out on turn six it also
214s gives him his Monument which allows him
216s to Giant easily in his second second
218s City if he chooses to use it there of
221s course he can also choose to use it in
223s any of these other cities I I think he's
225s absolutely using it on the middle City
227s it looks like he's got the population
229s for a giant on his second City already
234s yep doubling down on this expansion
237s versus Eco fishing he's trying to expand

241s sees and same thing here it looks like
244s Mystic should be in the East with how
246s the terrain is cutting across the middle

312s going in for that Grand Bazaar he's got
314s these six cities on his Island but he
317s also might be going in for Bridges there
318s are a few good spots to put them that'll

325s Mystic here going into the water placing
327s down these two ports and sending the
328s Warriors into the water he's preparing
330s for a naval play despite how little
333s water there seems to be between him and

338s absolutely big thing about mystic's
340s position is this what you'll see with a
342s lot of players they get this early
345s Advantage like you know giant turn six
347s with no Giant in sight for um our
350s economically deprived M
353s Lampe uh but usually they take this
356s economic Advantage they have from the
358s higher level cities with more income the
360s Giants are fantastic units to Pummel
362s their opponents with and they all
364s channel into one big attack well it
366s looks like he's getting ready to attack
367s him on the water steal a city from him
370s and turn that into a game-winning
373s thing for right now m l despite them not
377s making contact is already on the
378s defensive looking for some way to save
383s himself and we getting
386s pelted mhm pelted on the water if Noah
389s to defend end he could make a bridge
394s though yeah oh he's going to pick up
396s this uh Explorer but it's not going to
398s be too helpful for
400s him so yeah he's going to snipe that
402s ruin away from him with the bridge yeah
405s another bridge to attack this raft
409s here oh that's absolutely killer yeah
412s here we see me Lampe using his Riders
415s cleverly to bounce around and hit his
418s opponent's units and Retreat to safety
420s the thing about rafts and Juggernaut is
423s and juggernauts are that they don't do
424s retaliation damage so hitting with these
427s Riders and retreating back out of range
429s provides a lot of value for maest
432s lamping
433s mhm yeah looks like the Mystic the big
437s thing about him losing that ruin I think

440s overextended now we're going to see M
442s Lampe claim two veteran swordsman all
445s right that one in the back's a little
446s bad but that second one it's right next
448s to that really vulnerable far away hard
451s to defend level one city there and I
454s think what we're seeing here is you know
456s Mystic crator kind of abandoning that
458s Advantage he had it slow conservatively
461s safely the entire time and as soon as he
463s steps out of that strategy that safe
465s stuff instead of going for that safe
467s ruin back there he walks up there and M
470s Lampe Snipes a ruin from him gets that
472s swords when it's going to be annoying to
474s deal
477s with and we see right after that Mystic
480s creator sets up a Siege with a
482s juggernaut this time that's not going to
483s be so easy to un Siege as with two
486s riders that he did last
490s time absolutely and like there's just
492s not enough units to kill it here but my
496s has a plan he's getting that road on
498s that City he's not doing that for no
500s reason oh he's using everything the
502s roads the six
504s cities um just enough like that one
507s Lighthouse you got in the South part
509s that was NE here for that giant and this
511s park of Fortune here with just one star
514s before that after that um upgrade level
517s three before he got him back just barely
520s enough he pushes that giant off saving

527s him we can see here that Mystic does
529s bring the giant down to 10 HP but not
532s being able to take that City here is

568s back cities going to clear any siege
570s that Mystic can get and that whole plan

576s Advantage uh and turning into a win is

586s right here we have a bridge spot since

591s right here but because he placed this
593s Monument he's actually not going to be
595s able to utilize this bridge tile anymore

619s rider is a three star unit whereas a

631s the big thing we're seeing is these two
633s giant bottlenecks two choke points on

636s bridges uh that both players are able to
639s defend and noticing this Musa gets
642s archers which are fantastic for
644s defending all of his cities
647s here they're not going to take damage
649s against Giants from a distance and
652s they're hard to Target with these
654s bottlenecks here yeah we also see Mystic
657s places a bridge down to finally get this
659s Village over
661s here and that Village has six t eight
665s tiles of water around it so he can
667s definitely pump out Naval units from
669s here if he
671s wants
674s mhm well it seems like he's definitely
677s getting pushed into the
680s water yeah it's clear that one of them
682s has a land advantage while the other has
684s a naval Advantage just look at all of
687s maest lamp's land units he has a
689s combination of riders archers even a
692s single veteran swordsman whereas Mystic
695s has Giants juggernauts Scouts and
700s rafts yeah it looks like Land versus
703s water but then Mystic uh ends up getting
706s Knights this turn free spirit and
710s chivalry it looks like he's trying to
712s challenge his opponent on land
716s to he sees like all of these nice
718s chainable units and he gets even three
720s nights this turn yeah three nights is
724s crazy yeah especially when you can see
727s like M Lampe has Vision on that uh
730s lighthouse in the South part of the map
733s like he can definitely see this it turns
735s out he can see all three nights
737s but yeah and Border grow
740s too yeah cutting off cuts off these two
744s Bridges
749s here he's spacing his units to prevent
752s the night chain as much as
754s possible and we see that Mystic actually
757s destroys this Monument to place the
761s bridge and allow his
765s KN a very nice
769s chain and here's another the big
772s thing yeah oh another five unit chain
778s there the big problem for
781s Mystic uh what I'm going to call his
784s hubris here is that he doesn't have a
787s single unit that can really land a Siege
789s after that giant when uh me was a l in a
794s lot worse of a position way less
797s equipped to deal with
799s it the giant Siege didn't work but how
801s is a veteran Knight going to work better
804s and now we see this uh Juggernaut he
807s finishes with it forgetting that
809s Juggernaut stay like this in on a bridge
812s I think because well this is just kind
814s of devastating what happens
816s next one two three all of no retaliation
822s four five 6 seven units finishing off
828s that Juggernaut from near full health oh
831s that's got to be that's got to

835s hurt and now we can see that mystic's
838s Advantage has wh down a lot more he only
841s has two giants left one at full health
843s one at almost half Health compared to ma
847s Lampe having his own Giant and a lot of
849s archers and a lot of riders his Naval
852s has all but died down he only has one
855s singular raft now oh sorry two rafts now
858s one in the back line one in the front
860s but neither of which are upgraded and no
862s other Naval
867s units yeah for other of this game he's
870s going to continue hurling these land
873s units uh into these sieges that he does
877s get the siege but there's never a chance
879s that they're actually going to hold
881s whereas we're going to see my
884s Lampa unlike most players who would be
887s doing the exact same thing mystic's
888s doing right
890s now he's just going to notice that his
893s Advantage is in
894s Waiting uh see that he's not able to
898s launch an attack yet just just hold off
900s wait and build up his economy they're
903s switching strategies from the beginning
905s of the game meister's becoming a lot
907s more conservative and economic whereas
910s Mystic is deciding to start throwing all
914s of his units at his opponent in these
916s really aggressive pushes and it's going
918s to end up working out the exact same as
920s it did at the start here he uses three
924s Knights to land one Siege and knights
926s are eight star units so this Siege here
929s costs him almost 30 stars to pull
936s off and his then just on the next turn
939s one two three and then four units here
943s and all of those Knights are
945s gone and Mystic I'm sorry maer Lampe
949s took zero retaliation through that
951s exchange so he's benefiting a lot from
954s these
957s trades yeah Mystics whole Army is
960s getting ground down in these unfavorable
963s trades whereas Meister keeps growing and
966s growing if we actually take a moment to
968s check their incomes now while Mystic had
971s a huge lead at the start he is actually
974s slightly behind now with his 28 Stars
976s per turn compared to me lamp's 31 star
979s per turn funny to point out if uh Mystic
984s had kept that Monument somehow or placed
986s it on a different tile that he didn't
988s need to destroy it there their incomes
989s would have been the same at that
991s point until that is the markets start
994s coming out for myamp he's not messing
998s around he wants to win this game

1002s quick he picks up navigation and he
1005s starts Making
1007s Waves that's a lot of damage he's doing
1010s to these units and that's a very
1011s well-placed bomber very hard to deal
1013s with this is going to soften up all
1016s those Defenders and make these Knights
1017s tear through them like butter
1020s however is it going to be enough though
1023s it seems like maer lamp is not concerned
1025s at all as he continues to level up his
1028s markets and just get his income Sky
1031s High there goes the yeah M's got to do
1033s something quickly if he doesn't take a
1035s city then these markets and this giant
1037s income disparity is going to take him
1039s out he uses the naval Advantage he has
1042s he comes he PS in with the Knight he
1045s lands for his juggernaut
1049s now if this Siege holds it could make a
1051s big
1054s difference but he seems unconcerned he
1057s yep he blocks off all the tiles houding
1061s that giant ending mystic's attack and
1064s the game what a turn around slow and
1066s steady truly did win this race today
