this would be a nice boost that would make this tribe much more interesting and unique - just like cymanti starts with shaman and cymanti play is a lot about leveraging their shaman and not losing it for the whole game; this make sense for Aimo as it's congruent with their starting tech - 1 tech away from making mind benders; even with this change Aimo would still be a minor faction due to slow ecoing, so still much worse than e.g. cymanti or any t0 tribes

mind bender is the most underused unit because usually there is not enough incentive to go tech line to get it and mindbending is very hard, while healing is not fast enough; so I would also consider boosting the unit; but it would make for a great support unit with current stats if it was given as tribe first unit; even swordsman is used much more cause it pops randomly from ruins
