[2022] game already not working? :'(

Hello! Do you have any virus scanners on your PC? Sometimes Steam has trouble finding executable files because the scanner can flag them as a virus and delete them. If this is the case, then you should be able to restore the file and add an exception to prevent it doing it again. - Hope this helps!

Have you tried whitelisting the game on your Antivirus software? Your Antivirus might be accidentally blocking the game
