[2020] PC Update 8.2 | Discussion Megathread

PC live servers are now live with Update 8.2

Quick rundown of the update:

• New Weapon: MG3
• New Throwable: Decoy Grenade
• M416, SKS and Kar98k have been remodeled and sounds overhauled
• C4 has been added to Care Packages on all maps, except Karakin
• Balance of LMGs has been adjusted:
  • Vehicle damage multipliers have been added
  • Camera shake when firing while prone has been reduced
• Four docks have been added to Erangel
• Throwables Wheel Menu has been improved
• You can now toggle off your helmet to maintain your default costume pieces:
  • This function is cosmetic-only
• Performance Improvements
• Esports Tab is back for the PUBG Continental Series 2
  • This includes the Pick'Em Challenge
• You can now choose lobby background music
  • 14 music choices are available (including Early Access music!)
• Match History section has been added to the Career tab
• Friends List has undergone a visual and functional rework:
  • It now displays more detailed friend status
  • You can now invite players already in a team
  • Accepting this invite will make the player move from the existing team to the new team
• Team Deathmatch is now available in Custom Matches
• New Skins, including the return of Metal Plated M416
• A plethora of bug fixes
