So I just got a popup from Steam letting me know I've been banned from PUBG until July 5th.
Thing is, I haven't touched this game for 10 months (PUBG.gg profile here)
I knew this game was in bad shape, but seriously, what the actual f*ck? Zero chance my account's been compromised, have authenticator on and haven't had any suspicious login notices at all.
This isn't a "QQ I GOT WRONGFULLY BANNED PLS HELP" post, because I legit don't care, but has anyone else had this happen?

Well this is weird! I just checked my Steam account again. The message now shows:
Your VAC ban in PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has been removed. We apologize, it looks like we made a mistake and have removed this false ban. You should now be able to play in VAC secured game servers within this game again. Please see our Valve Anti-Cheat System (VAC) Article for more information about how VAC Bans are applied.
Even more strange is that as we do not use Valve Anti-Cheat and therefore we do not actually issue VAC bans at all.
