Are the PUBG developers ever going to address the rampant cheating?

Hey somewhatlazy_, the devs over in the AC department are working around the clock to constantly make improvements and changes to the existing systems in order to get and stay ahead of cheaters.

As other's mentioned, this is a well known cat and mouse battle and obviously some cheats get through the detection systems and do not end up getting banned after they get used - to combat that, we have created PUBG Shield - a webtool that allows us to target these cases and tackle them with a superb efficiency!

Shield allows players from the community to submit reports using links to video evidence and allows other players to review the reports and give their judgement. Ultimately, these reports are forwarded to us, community team members with a lot of game experience and knowledge, for a final review and decision, and so far we have issued thousands of bans with a crazy efficiency (something like 99% of bans stick = do not get reverted due to unclear evidence or what have you). We have an ever growing Shield community over at our official Discord, where we discuss all things related to Shield (updates, feedback etc). An amazing community of experienced players who care about the game and want to see it at it's best, just like us!

So if you do encounter a player you believe might be cheating, head over to https://shield.pubg.com/ and submit a report! All you need is your Global PUBG Account login credentials and a linked platform that you play on to access Shield. Shield is currently available in NA, EU, South Africa & Mena, LATAM regions.
