[2023] Should I play with friends who use mouse macros?

I've never played PUBG before, and today friends asked me to play with them.
We played many games together and they always play fair, no cheats.

However, for PUBG one of my friends is going to use some kinda macro mouse script.
Having never played this game, I have no idea if that's cheating, or if almost everyone plays like this.

I don't want to play in a party with someone who can be considered a cheater.
Is this a deal breaker for me then?
