[2020] Periodic lockups?

Came back to try the new patch. Sometimes the game will lock up completely for 5-10 seconds, then come back and work perfectly. Like it's completely unresponsive until it resumes. Needless to say you're dead if this happens in a firefight.

Anyone know what causes this? It did not do this half a year ago when I played the game on the same machine (9700K, 2070S, newest drivers).
