I believe it was sometime mid-last week that PUBG had an update, and since then I haven't been able to launch the game. I'm playing through Steam on Windows 11, I have hundreds of hours of playtime with no issues previously.

When I open team and hit play I quickly get the standard pop-up that says Launching PUBG. Steam shows the game running and my friends see me offline. After maybe 20 seconds Steam no longer shows the game running. I've tried verifying the files and I've tried an uninstall/reinstall. Any other ideas?

You are on Windows 11 Dev Insider.

The latest dev build has issues with EasyAntiCheat and others, so you need to rollback to last weeks update to resolve this issue.

(NOTE: This is a Windows issue, not a PUBG issue)

Funny that it’s not a PUBG issue but it was caused by a PUBG update.

It’s not. It’s windows update. I had the same issue trigger without a pubg update.
