TLDR: Unjustified temp bans are a growing problem that PUBG needs to address.

It's become embarrassingly common for players to report someone just because they killed them. It seems worse now that the skill gap between new players and veterans is larger than ever. New players don't understand the flaws of the replay system, lucky shots/nades can be a mix of luck game sense, and better audio, lag/desync, etc.

In a first yesterday, I got temp banned because of teammates that were doing well. Didn't even complete one game with them. Two players on my team got 9 kills each. Admittedly that seems high, but they were high-level players and the kills didn't look suspicious (3rd party, multiple vehicle knocks, etc.).

The ENTIRE team got kicked, one by one, around the 20th minute. Unranked match so it's not like the players with 1 or 2 kills are being boosted.

In my experience, most people don't bother to spectate and report a whole team unless the cheating is especially blatant.

To me, the probability of so many in such a small group to do this seems very low. Makes me wonder if someone could have a mass report tool that gets people they want kicked.

What are your thoughts on this issue?

u/SteveTheHappyWhale, wondering if you know of any plans to address these issues. Guessing you don't know or can't say there's a tool hackers are using to exacerbate this, but throwing that question out there as well in case you do have info you can share.

Hey daiei27, we are aware of the frustration some experience with false bans and are forwarding any and all sentiment related to this, to our AC team. I do not have any more info to share than that as of yet.
