If there is one of the two cities in the zone, literally nothing happens for the vast majority of the match because most of the teams are just sitting on one of the 45 buildings sniping in whichever town is in the zone. This has been every match of my 10 or so that has had a zone pull to either Ripton or the North West town. Then it just comes down to which team has control of the tallest building because then they can see down onto all other buildings.

One match (in duos so there are more teams to find), a zone pulled to the north west town Los Arcos and I drove around the north west of the map from barclift to the swamps for literally 15-20 minutes and came across 1 team who promptly floored it with their faster car towards the town in the first 5 minutes of the match. After finding literally noone for 15 minutes, I then went into the town and heard no less than about 15 bolt action rounds coming from the roofs. I went onto one of the few untaken roofs and all it came to was people sniping on the roofs all end game. I watched 1 poor team who didn't have a roof gets spammed by 4 different teams on roofs as they desperately attempted to get into the town.

It's even worse in the main town of Ripton. If you need to move building good luck when the roads are 25 lanes wide while you are slowed down by the water while being overlooked by everyone and their grandma.

When the zone pulled towards the hydroelectric dam it was an extremely fun experience. However, it seems like the zones are coded to pull towards the two towns more because the vast majority of my matches have been these 2 city end-zones.

It's rng. It's not tuned to go to the city - the zone has a random change to end up anywhere every match. I myself have clocked over 30 hours on test last week and have not seen a city circle more than once perhaps.
