External link →I play PUBG for the sheer adrenaline it gives me every 10 minutes. The cosmetic rewards are just like the sprinkles on a big wedding cake.
That's been the main reason why I've loved the game for the last 8 years as well! My point or message is that it doesn't matter if people on this side of the world think that these consumer unfriendly monetisation practises are morally fair or unfair to the playerbase - the boys in asia clearly love this kind of monetisation. We're completely irrelevant so it's time to just enjoy the ride and not worry about these things anymore.
