Dear PUBGers, survival greetings. How about an area of the map filled with small dry and breakable branches that would increase the noise from footsteps for everyone in it? Maybe also dry leaves, but I'm not sure if these increase footsteps noise. (also thought of eggshells lol maybe this is where my inspiration or lack thereof came from: "treading on eggshells ..." lol)

Also regions of the map with the opposite, with a floor as such as to provide quieter footsteps for everyone in it. I'm just not sure what to add to the ground in order to decrease the noise from footsteps, if you have any idea ... (I thought sand or snow but this is Miramar/Vikendi maybe sand like we have in beaches where your foot sinks a little bit in it maybe this would reduce the noise a bit without penalizing the player's speed too much)

Any thoughts? sorry if this sound too ridiculous :-)

I think on the other hand.. a jungle map like sanhok (where it’s hard to see) should allow for you to hear a pin drop in the bushes. Let’s say when you are standing still.. you should be able to hear the smallest of leafs being stepped on nearby. Walking hear less.. running hear less.

I also think birds should shit on campers. And attack snakes in the grass in the final circle

I would love to see someone in a bush get shat on, literally!

Sounds like an original way to add terrain advantage to an FPS. I like the concept in general.

Agreed

I love the idea. I think it would fit in PUBG.
