I've actually had a lot of fun playing on Haven with my duo partner. Overall it's pretty well done.
Doesn't replace good, ol' PUBG, but it's a nice diversion.
Here are some things I wouldn't mind seeing tweaked:
- Pillar AI don't appear to be affected by stun grenades.
- Randomize Pillar AI spawns or make them walk around a bit more before being engaged to make them less predictable.
- There's often not a lot of room left in the final circle(s). Having the searchlight chopper and the tank still roaming around at the very end ruined many PvP battles. The last handful of players should have a chance at a fair fight, especially at the end when the chicken dinner is on the line.
- Aside from making the chopper/tank leave in the final circle(s), maybe add a way to make them disengage. If they take enough damage, they should be motivated to move on somewhere else.
- I occasionally hear loud parachute noises that sound like they're right above me when it doesn't seem like they are nearby at all. The directionality and volume based on proximity might need to be looked at. Could also be a sound bug in the really wide, green warehouses?
- There are a lot of windows that are difficult to vault in/out. Wasn't recording it but here are some I think I remember:
- Two-story, square duplexes, especially the window near the kitchen?
- A bunch of the windows leading to platforms between buildings/structures.
- The road that runs North to South in the bottom very middle of the map, you can't run from the street onto the sidewalk.
- I got stuck between a pipe and the wall on steel mill. I dropped down from the big roof on the SW side of the building. The pipe is still a few floors up running horizontally to the ground above some metal railing. I landed on it just fine but backed up towards the wall and started perpetually sliding. I eventually got out by sliding forward while spamming vault.
I'd like to hear what you all think.
