So I’m back after a long time off from the game (pc). I’m having a lot of fun with the new maps and changes they’ve made. I’m playing unranked and seeing bots which I don’t think was a thing back when I played before. My question is how many bots do they put in a lobby? I’ve been in lobbies where the count went up super slow till about 15 players then all of a sudden we’re at 97. Were all those bots???

Since you haven't played in a while, you'll face more bots than humans for a few matches and after that, the system is dynamic - that means that if there are 100 players queuing for the same gamemode at the same time as you are, the system will match you all together. If there are not enough human players, the system fills the rest of the slots with bots after a while of searching / waiting.
