[2022] Steam/Epic Games progress

I've been playing on steam for a little while, but now on the Epic Games Store you can get a founders pack with a few bonus skins in it. Will I need to move to EGS completely if I want to use it, or is there a way to transfer progress from Steam to EGS or the other way around?

I'm sorry if this is like a really stupid question, but I haven't found a result from searching online.

Hey, as these are separate platforms, the progress is going to be connected to the platform where your account lives. Creating a new EGS account will mean starting from scratch.
