As the utility for The Spotter Scope has been heavily nerfed and it's no longer able to tag enemies, it's now never used in any context? Had some thoughts on how to make it viable again:

- Spotter Scope should fit into your third weapon slot. In its current form I think it still has potential as a way of accurately measuring distance, both for Sniper Rifles and Mortars, and the trade-off of losing your pistol/grenade launcher for this utility seems fairly balanced. Alternatively, let us put the Spotter Scope in the tactical pack so we can switch it out quickly.

- Mortar damage should penetrate walls, the same way a C4 does. The mortar is cumbersome to set up (ground needs to be flat), takes a weapon slot, and the ammo is limited and heavy - it's a huge handicap to the standard 2 gun build and is simply not worth it as anything other than a meme at the moment. It's also very easy to dodge as the blast radius is small and is nullified by roofs and walls. The whole point of this weapon should be to flush out enemies who have dug in to a secure/covered position, and allowing building penetration would achieve this.

I think the combination of Mortar, with the utility spotter scope to gauge distance, has the potentially to be both extremely fun and functionally useful it utilized in a way which actually has a meaningful impact on the game. x
