I am back at playing PUBG and was wondering if there have been changes on how attachments work, I have heard the half grip is a very good option for ARs, what do you think?

I prefer angled on every full auto gun. I love the horizontal recoil stability it offers and my only "enemy" being the vertical recoil. I am used to the initial vertical recoil kick so I've learned how to automatically adjust for it at close, mid and long range engagements. The key is to get a feel for distance and adjust your aim before you start shooting. To deliver accurate headshots at distance with angled, you must start with your aim further down the enemy's body so that the 2nd bullet hits the head area and the spray remains in that area when you start pulling down on your mouse.

I find that you cannot be as consistent with the vertical at longer distance sprays because of the horizontal recoil kicking in after a few bullets which brings in some rng elements to my recoil control. So unless you are 100% confident you can kill a player in the first 5-6 bullet burst at distance, I'd suggest you get used to angled!

At the end of the day, it all comes down to muscle memory and preference. You can train your muscle memory and adjust to every type of grip if you wanted to.

I know you get a lot of grief on this sub because you are often the bearer of "bad" or unwelcome news but an in depth post like this shows that you still love the game - even when it's your job!

I am a guy who fell in love with this game the day I got a closed beta access key in early 2017 and am extremely honored to have joined the community team back in early 2018. I was happy beyond imagination the day I was asked to join the team. I haven't stopped loving the game one bit and I don't think this will ever change. It really is something else and I am glad that I get to be this closely involved with it.
