I don’t know if this has been changed but you can extract at the beginning and jump immediately into online play.
It’ll make playing with randoms more bearable if they know how to do objectives.

External link →It is unfortunate that some players rush through the tutorial but it's meant to mimic a real match, where you can extract on the first sub-zone if you wish.
I would suggest checking out the Official Discord to find teammates! Loads of people on there to play with!
