The syntax and formatting of the codex is a little confusing to me. Can someone help me learn what the different keywords mean. I get that "inseration" is an operator inserting a note into the file after it was written, but what are the "@" symbols used for? Or the keyword "query"? Or anything else I just haven't encountered yet?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: not related to original question, but what is "INDEX"? They refer to it in almost every file but I can't figure out what it is.

INDEX is the self-aware AI used by REACT to help with their research by correlating all the research data, all the codex entries are written by INDEX, with comments and annotations added by other Operators.

Query is basically INDEX making a note to look into something related to what it's looking at.

When someone ends a annotation with something like (@Ash) it's basically a ping to say "This is for you, Ash".
