So i havent played the game and seen mixed reviews, some hate it and others like it.

I dont think its for me as I dont really like the whole shooting Aliens in a R6 game as a concept (having said that will never judge a game til i have tried it)

The one thing I have seen in reviews that I think is really cool are some mechanics , like randomization of objectives , health pool system, progression and the captured operatives.

I cant help but feel that if this game was structured in the same way but still stayed in its tactical shooter routes of fighting men with guns and game was super tactical and hard i would be 1000 times more likely to play it as mechanically it looks solid.

Im sure it would be harder to implement something like this as AI and bullet sponges doesnt make sense as much but cant help but want a purely PVE focussed R6 tactical shooter instead of this, like a more arcadey Ready or Not and closer to roots of R6.... Feel like that would have been great tho but maybe im in minority and just being a boomer.

Anyone with me on this or should I just try the game? With open mind?

My personal opinion is this game is closer to the original Rainbow Six game than Siege is.

If you can get past the idea that you are fighting aliens (People say it's not realistic but hey, they could be out there!) you still have a very, very tactical shooter game here.

If you just try to run and gun in this, you're gonna have a bad time. It takes a lot of tactical plays and coordination to do well in this game and it's the most fun when you have a good coordinated team.
