So, as the title says, I picked up the RoN Supporter Edition and I just wanted to say I am really really excited for this title.
Much like a lot of us here in this sub, I spent countless hours playing SWAT games as a child (thanks mom! LoL) and a few years ago i decided to reinstall SWAT 3 and SWAT 4.
So i loaded up SWAT 3, and oh boy. I dont know if i just had a super vivid imagination as a kid or if I had mods or something, but holy hell it seemed very very different. I couldve sworn there were gun models, not just the crosshairs. Those graphics didnt age gracefully either. So i played the mission where you make entry on the blond guy at his moms house, finished it, and uninstalled it.
Then, i loaded up SWAT 4. Now, for me SWAT 4 is/was closer to what i remembered, but, something about SWAT 4 just couldnt hold me like it used to. But i was craving some tactical gameplay, played a bit more of it, got like 6 missions completed, then quit.
Hopped on the Google, and searched for 'SWAT tactical game'. Thats when it happened. Thats when i found "Ready or Not", the operatic trailer, the crispgraphics, the stunning movements. This is what I've been looking for.
The last 2 years have been rough, chock-full of anxious anticipation of hearing more about this title. About a yr ago found this Sub, and have been reveling in it.
Now, with the alpha/beta test fast approaching, i find that anxious/anticipation building again, and i am nothing short of stoked.
To the Devs - you guys are amazing. The amount of work it must've taken to get this far, well, o can only imagine. I am so looking forward to making my way through RoN, and i want to say thank you for the hard work. It isnt easy having a rabid community, but just know we r this interested because we want you to succeed. From the posts that complain, to the posts that praise, to trailee, we want you to be successful.
This kind of turned into a book, apologies. Keep up the good work, i and many others are very excites to see this come to fruition. O7
