Yes, there are issues with the update and from earlier that need to be fixed, but plenty of people have discussed these so I’ll focus on the positives, if anybody cares.

The station overhaul is awesome. Feels like a lived in place with lots and lots of details.

The new customization is beyond anything I had ever imagined. A great mix of tactical clothing of different styles that are thematically appropriate, with some silliness that doesn’t go too far. As an enjoyer of playing tactical dress-up dolls, big approve.

New maps: I have only played 23mb and Beachfront so far, but they have set an incredible standard. Especially Beachfront was enjoyable as I prefer the more “mundane” settings with fewer suspects and more compact maps.

The tablet system is great, love it. Would be great if we could pick missions from it, so we didn’t have to walk to the briefing room every time. Blueprints have been a requested feature for a long time, and it’s so good to have them. Love that they have varying levels of detail depending on the map as well.

The commander mode is interesting. I’ll have to play a bit more to figure out what I think of it, but I do like the concept. I care more about my officers after the update, that’s for sure.

The swat ai is much improved in many ways, love that they cuff suspects and hoover up evidence (sometimes).

All in all I am very happy with the massive content drop, and I’m looking forward to enjoying it more when the issues are ironed out.

Wait....what???? I have not received any briefings for my first two missions, it just loads me into the map like it did in the beta. Yes I'm playing in Commander mode.

In the tablet (TAB key), there’s a way to read and listen to each mission’s briefings / 911 calls :)
