Not trying to be a wet blanket here but come on... simply comparing against the latest devlog alone:

  • "Simply take the spot of anyone in the stack" - nope, just "you're in my spot sir" voice lines over and over
  • "Your team doesn't overextend anymore" - they absolutely do. Brisa Cove and Mindjot data center are particularly egregious. and on the new beach map dudes were completely going up/down at least one, sometimes two floors away from me
  • "The shield always goes first" - lol, nope, not always!
  • "The team doesn't step on/over bodies anymore" - except they do. (to be fair I don't really care about this, at all, but it's just one more datapoint)
  • "Delta will always pull rear security" - several times already, an enemy has formula-one'd around a corner whilst my team is all staring at me, no one looking backwards, and I watch the last guy in the stack collect half a mag before he finally turns around
  • "Rigorously tested on every map" - ...was it though?
  • Trailers...? Supposedly at one point they were supposed to come in mid-mission, that was then changed to be at the soft complete of the mission - but I have yet to see them ever, at all?

Then, beyond those in particular:

  • Performance is abso-f*cking-lutely atrocious. Unbelievable framerate dips, and it has gotten me killed several times as it tends to happen right when you ADS a suspect. I can't believe how much worse this has gotten since pre-1.0. I'm on a 3080 and i9 13k. Any combination of low graphics and DLSS setting (or completely off) makes no difference. EDIT: Please, spare me the "bUt iT wOrKs FiNe fOr mE". This happens for literally every game, every time performance is brought up. Cool, great, it works for you. For many others it does not.. Lose the main character syndrome please; there are other players than you. Also, let's say for the sake of argument this wasn't even a thing - it does not take away from the other points made here, especially when such a big to-do was made about the AI overhaul.
  • Can't equip teammates via presets (I personally hadn't attempted this or thus experienced it myself yet, but several other people are reporting it so I'm consolidating it here)
  • SWAT and enemy AI loves to shoot at each other through closed doors (and no, not ones with windows nearby, or holes in the wall, and not after we've been detected. there is some serious x-ray sh*t going on)
  • SWAT AI shotgun breach makes no sound, sometimes (not always, but enough to be noticeable and annoying)
  • Gas grenades have an apparent radius of about 1 foot. Also intermittent sound issues here sometimes (no 'hiss' sound of it going off)
  • Need to issue commands multiple times on many occasions. To stack, to move in and clear, etc. Sometimes it takes 3+ times. (again... rigorously tested on every map?) edit: after playing some more, I've had some doors where they just don't even respond at all, ever
  • Weird bug with IR lasers where if you do some sort of combination of zoom in, then high/low-ready, then it becomes invisible and can't be toggled again until you cycle NVGs again
  • Lots of missing graphics in the customization UI (e.g. facewear options). They are still selectable and work in-game, but the UI image is missing

Honestly good feedback across the board. Thank you for the post! As much as we all wanted a perfect release, this stuff happens. What’s there I hope is at least fun most of the time!

AI related issues boil down to a number of bugs that maybe came back up as we crushed others, or just disparity between different users in the game (arguably the hardest stuff to catch). We’re on top of it, especially aware of the laser beam dudes on Brisa Cove and Sins to name a few.

We’re gonna let the dust settle a bit and continue collating feedback to hone that all in so it’s more enjoyable. Ready or Not going to 1.0 doesn’t mean that we’re done working on this experience, but it does mean that we’re not preoccupied with trying to add or change any major pieces of content and features. Onward and upward as they say.
