Please keep the focus on realism and tacticalness. Leave out microtransactions and Unrealistic skins. Give us the game as it's roadmaped don't change it players are tired of the AAA game bullsh*t meta's not incorporating that into your game will make players want to come and play.

There will probably be micro transactions in the form of DLC and realistic cosmetics, which I’m fine with

Yeah pretty much this. I even considered getting rid of the Pink Bitch G3A3 skin, but our supporters didn't like that! Hah. Cosmetics will be FreeLC, DLC or Expansion based.

Can we assume that “DLC based” cosmetics are essentially micro-transactions?

I wouldn't rule it out but in this context it would be more of a full pack with a bunch of stuff. We coould sell one gun skin or whatever but it gets out of hand really fast. In any case they'll maintain the realism. Honestly to me that is the coolest stuff, not the colourful crap.

What even is Siege nowadays anymore? They always have completely out of character events like zombie and wild west shooter and stuff like that. Not even to mention the cosmetics. Which, according to its players I can "just ignore" but can't even turn off in the options. Which KINDA makes ignoring hard when some guy with a flaming skull as a head runs past me.

But try bringing that up in the R6 Siege subreddit. It's all "But I think it's fun!" and "Just don't play these modes then!" there. Yeah ... the time to develop these modes could have gone into developing actually fitting gameplay mechanics for the game.
