Out of all the communities that I have been a part of, (Rainbow Six, Rust and a small bit of Overwatch) this community has been like a literal family. Often times you read the ad's for discord servers, and the welcome message that's pinned on top of the Reddit, saying : " something something join our wonderful community of :insert pleb name here:, we are all a family" or something like that. Then you join, and ask a question, and everyone says "wow you are so new :insert racial slur here: go kys." and then some moderator bans you for being new.
NONE of that happens here.
I allways see someone asking a new question, and someone sending them to the FAQ, and then answering their question for them. not sending them to the FAQ and having them read for themselves, but helping them for real. And yeah there may be an occasional " lol :insert tactical language here:" and the new person will respond with very little tactical knowledge, and then will be clowned on with an entire typed out copy of the"Close quarters combat Wikipedia", but in that case, the new guy will then be able to learn more in the future.
AND with frequent faces,
Everyone is super polite and friendly with each other. People here are allways able to put a positive spin on everything. The game has super heavy child trafficking themes and nudity, and somehow, everyone just finds a way to look over that and make all of these super funny and light hearted memes about swat officers having super intense bloody sex wait wha-
basically what im trying to say is that this community is super awesome, and i hope that it stays this way, even after launch. Mods, keep doing what you are doing. sh*tposters, keep posting, and new-guys, read the faq. Also Mailik, keep asking for Ron.
P.S. : someone buy Mailik (frenchie) ron because he wont stop asking lol
