I’m not sure I’ve ever come across a game which seemingly has no positional audio. Civilians and terrorists on the floor above you sound like they are stood next to you. There seems to be no sense of direction or anything to the audio in this game, its so bad it makes games like Tarkov (my previous benchmark for having terrible positional audio) seem polished in this area. Anyone know if the devs have commented on this ? Any plans for MAJOR improvements with regard to this ?

Positional audio is something we're actively working on for the future (improving HRTF / Occlusion), we're currently exploring using some dedicated plugins within FMOD to get it sounding mint
