Firstly just want to say I LOVE this game, so don't let one small critique be seen as an attack on the game as a whole.

I bound shift to low-ready which I saw was a suggestion for players who are used to having shift be sprint, but I'm curious why there isn't a sprint option in the game by default? I understand it isn't "tactical" but when my friend doesn't get the flashbang through the door it sucks to have to slowly walk away when in reality anyone would be running for it. Thoughts?

Yeah as others have said here it is a deliberate decision to slow the gameplay and make players very certain of their decision making :) easy to high tail it out of any mess you've created with sprint!
