[2023] Does anyone else have a problem of not being able to aim your weapon sometimes?

I am a PC player. Since I bought this game I have an annoying problem

about 5 out of 10 times when an enemy comes in front of me and starts shooting, my mouse's right key refuses to react and I am unable to aim down sights to fire at the enemy. The problem is very subtle and I do aim down sights perfectly after a few seconds but that 1 or 2 seconds leads to me dying.

Btw my mouse is brand new and has no problems with right click out of this game. The issue is very annoying and I want to know if anyone else is having this issue

Is this a new 'You get stunned when someone is firing at you' mechanic they have added?
