Since the home invasion release my audio has had problems with “crackling” this gets abhorrent when I play online, it is manageable in single player
The ONLY fix I have found is enabling Windows sonic for headphones (wireless headphones do not work on my computer with W11)
Enabling sonic makes the crackling go away with the unfortunate side effect of washing out the audio quality. Guns sound quiet, effects aren’t as “sharp” sounding etc.
Anyone have an idea of a fix for this? Anything would be appreciated
As a side note every other game I have on steam does not have this crackling issue when sonic is disabled
