[2021] How good is friendly AI so far?

Dont have time to watch videos of gameplay and judge the AI for myself, so I wanted to ask if the friendly AI is braindead or not. I know AI is still probably a work in progress, but if its good right now in alpha than that gives me high hopes for the future
