Not sure if its been discussed or not, but just an idea I have been kicking around.

Before I get into it, I have worked in both the Law Enforcement and Military. And unfortunately I have found myself in situations that wouldn't be too far from some of the scenarios in this game both at home and overseas. I think this game has a realism not seen in most games and adds a weight behind pulling the trigger, and for that reason I just wanted to contribute what I have seen/experienced in the real world to hopefully make this a more realistic experience. I appreciate the tact that VOID Interactive has in dealing with these sensitive topics, and for that reason I feel its important to get people to feel the emotions that come with this stuff.

A big part of getting the point across comes from sound design. I think the death animations and sounds should be tied to hit location. People hit in the head don't usually make any noise, they just fall like a sack of flour and slump onto the ground. Even "dead" bodies twitch and move a bit. People hit in the spine drop similarly, but usually start yelling about how they cant move, feel their arms/legs/ect. Gut/chest shots are usually a lot of yelling and screaming, and that can go on for a LONG time. Bringing me to my second point: the sounds need to be longer and louder. People shot will scream about how they have been shot and the pain. It will make you straight up feel bad. I think killing in this game would have far more weight if you had to listen to that person you shot scream for minutes before they just start getting quieter and finally gurgling out.

I really hope this hasn't seemed too morbid, this is just observations I've had (and I hope you guys never experience). I really want this game to put a lot of weight behind the decisions you make, and so far they have done an excellent job at that.

Thanks guys.
