Imagine an RPG dungeon was actually real. It would be unbelievably terrifying. People going into a dark unmapped tunnel network where they mostly get torn apart, poisoned, and burned to death by hideous creatures.
Every fantasy RPG is a horror game.

And for them even the overworld town is horrifying. Terrible local dentists apparently.
