My ideolgion allows men to have 3 or fewer wives. I didn't think much of its impact until I had a pawn with two wives and I realized there are no beds that can fit three or more people. So one of the spouses will suffer a mood debuff because they aren't sleeping together. Right now I've resorted to having a double bed and a single bed next to each other and just swapping out which wife sleeps in the single. I know there is a polygamy bed mod but it doesn't seem too compatible with Ideology because when I tried to use it it wouldn't let me assign all 3 people to the bed because the women were married to the man and so, my strict ideology wouldn't let them share a bed together. It seems like an oversight for them to implement polygamy but not make new beds to accommodate the lifestyle.

In real life, jealousy and anger over unequal treatment among poly-wives is reportedly widespread [1].

In fact, your solution of swapping out the wives nightly is basically what these people do in real life: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/nov/21/religion.gender

That's not to say these outcomes are universal. Human behavior is extremely diverse. But, from my research, these seem to be common patterns pretty much globally.

So some amount of struggle here was anticipated and designed-in.

That said, perhaps we need some signposting in the game to make it clear that these situations are an intended part of the mechanics - like special though texts that explicitly call out the situation. We could also tune things a little more finely.
