[2022] PSA: Wacky regional prices

"WTF, that price for Biotech is outrageous!"

If this is you right now, don't panic. Tynan confirmed here that the unexpectedly high regional prices for Biotech are indeed not intentional. He manually corrected some currencies, while others he reached out to Valve about.

If you have not bought the DLC yet, just wait until the pricing issues are resolved.

If you bought the DLC overpriced, my recommendation would be to ask for a refund. As long as you haven't played for more than 2 hours, you should be refunded for any reason as per Steam's refund policy. Give it a try even if you have played for over 2 hours, and give the accidental pricing as a reason. You may get lucky. After the price is corrected, you can buy again.
