I'm playing Rimworld + Royalty + Ideology and my colony is having some serious issues. Let me explain...

It comes down to one simple thing that I've found. My colonists all hate each other and get in social fights ALL the time. I don't think I have a time where I don't have at least 3 pawns out of my 10 in the hospital for beating each other up. My colony is barely a year old (in-game time) and I don't know how much longer they are going to last at this rate.

I've narrowed the actual issue to one thing that seems to have been overlooked. When you assign your ideology and pick cannibals as a precept, if your colonists don't have the cannibal trait they all hate each other for eating human flesh.

Every single one of my pawns has a -25 social for everyone else for eating human flesh even though my ideology requires it and they get a mood bonus for doing so and literally hate going without it for too long. This ends up causing a domino effect. In which every pawn starts out disliking all the other ones and never get to know them well enough to offset the -25 EVER in the game.

In the early game you don't have much other positive things socially for other pawns as they don't know each other yet. By giving them this massive negative penalty at the beginning they never make any friends.

Making every single one of my pawns have the cannibal trait would be cheating in my view since I'd have to either use a mod to set that trait on them all at the beginning or click random for a million times until I got it.

What's going on? Was this overlooked or is it intended?

It sounds like a bug. Sorry about this. We will fix it.
