[2021] Shalthis Update 6

Hi all! Apologies for not updating this in a while. It gets tough to go on here and write things that I'm excited about that aren't necessarily major milestones.

Stephen is doing well. He gets better and better every day. I guess the biggest thing to report is that Steve now has feeling in his right arm! He hasn't responded to touch previously, but now it seems that he can feel the touch sensation when his arm is touched. I am hoping this is one step closer to him being able to move it! He does physical therapy 5 times a week and is able to stand with assistance from a machine for about 10 minutes now. They are still evaluating his swallow, so not much progress to report there, but he works with speech therapy 5 times a week as well. Overall, he just looks better and more happy/relaxed than previously. I'm sure he is just bored out of his mind and getting stir crazy, but he is making progress nonetheless.

I wish I had more updates to give, but this is a super slow process. But any improvement is a good thing and he is getting there!
