If you Rocket League game is suddenly refusing to connect to EOS and disabling you from playing in online matches, it's because Epic wants to know how old you are. This is because of the recent addition of cabined accounts, and Rocket League failed to prompt you for your age for some reason. I was able to force Epic to ask me for my age by signing out of the Epic Games Launcher and signing back in. Hopefully this helps some other people with this problem, and hopefully Psyonix can make the game show a proper error message instead of the unhelpful "Could not connect to Epic Online Services. Please restart your game."
